CORE SHOPPING CART PAGES

There are five core SendSafe pages that every customer will go through when checking out. One of these pages is optional (the agreement page); all other pages are required.

The Basket page:
This page is displayed as a result of clicking on any add-to-cart button (unless instant add is enabled). This page shows the contents of the basket. The customer can delete or edit items. The customer can empty the entire basket.
The Shipping information page:
This page is where the customer enters their shipping address. Multiple shipping addresses are optional. Shipping methods are selected and their associated costs calculated. Sales tax is calculated and displayed based on shipping address. This page shows the contents of the basket. The customer can delete or edit items. The customer can empty the entire basket.
The Agreement page:
This OPTIONAL pages displays an agreement and requires the customer to accept the terms of the agreement before proceeding. This page can also optionally contain: (a) Join our e-mail list and (b) a set of general questions such as small marketing surveys or preferences. More info
The Billing information page:
This page is where the customer enters their billing address and payment information. Pressing submit on this page will complete the order. This page shows the contents of the basket. The customer can delete or edit items. The customer can empty the entire basket.
The Receipt page:
This page shows the status of the order: charge approved or denied. This page also shows the status of transmission of the e-mailed e-receipt.
